Introduction
Native Share for Bubble Mobile opens the native iOS and Android share sheet from your Bubble mobile app. Share any text and links (on iOS the recipient sees a link preview card), or let users pick a photo from the gallery and share it. Events and states let you react to the result: reward users for sharing, handle cancellations and show errors.
Prerequisites
This plugin is designed specifically for the mobile version of the Bubble editor. To test the plugin on your mobile device, use the TestFlight app available at: https://testflight.apple.com/join/phtrt5zv
How to setup
The Share Mobile plugin does not require any special API keys or additional setup. Simply install the plugin from the Bubble Plugins marketplace and add the Share Mobile element to your page.
- Go to your Bubble application's Plugins tab.
- Click "Add Plugins".
- Search for "Native Share for Bubble Mobile".
- Install the plugin.
- Add the “Share Mobile” element to your view where you want to implement sharing functionality.
- Use the Share action whenever you need to share something.

Events
Title | Description |
Shared | Triggered when the share completes. On Android it fires whenever the share sheet is shown, because Android does not report whether the user actually sent anything. |
Dismissed | Triggered when the user closes the share sheet without sharing (iOS and web preview; Android does not report it) or cancels picking a photo. |
Share Failed | Triggered when sharing fails. The reason is in the Last Error state. |
