Flickr API

• Perform image searches using tags or keywords.

• Retrieve high-quality images directly from Flickr.

• Fetch image metadata such as title, owner, and license type.

• Compatible with Bubble workflows for seamless integration.

• Visit the https://www.flickr.com/services/developer/api/.

• Request an API key to sign your API requests.

• Sign in to your Flickr account (or create one if you don’t have an account).

• Indicate whether your app is Commercial or Non-Commercial:

• Choose Non-Commercial if:
• Your app does not generate revenue.
• Your app makes money but is run by a small, family, or independent business.
• You are developing a product that is not currently commercial but might be in the future.
• You are building a personal website or blog and only using your own images.

• Choose Commercial if:
• You or your agency work for a major brand.
• You plan to use the key for AI or machine learning research.
• You intend to make a profit or charge a fee for services.
• You will incorporate Flickr content into a commercial product.

• Enter the required details about your app, including:
• App Name
• What you are building

• Click Submit, and your API Key will be generated.

• Go to the Plugin Tab
• Open your Bubble Editor.
• Navigate to the Plugins tab on the left panel.

• Add Plugins
• Once in the Plugins tab, click the Add Plugins button.

• Search for the Plugin
• Use the search bar to type Flickr API.



• Locate the plugin in the search results.

• Install/Buy
• If the plugin is free, click Install to add it to your application.
• For a paid plugin, click Buy and follow the purchase instruction

• Payment Information (For Paid Plugins)
• If the plugin is a paid one, confirm your payment.



• Charges will be added to your Bubble billing account.
• Remember, if you unsubscribe from the plugin shortly after installation, charges will be prorated based on the days used.

• Plugin Installed
• Once installed, the plugin will appear under the Installed Plugins list in your Bubble Editor.

• Go to Plugins → Flickr API.

• Enter your Flickr API Key in the plugin settings.

• Place an Input element and an Image element on the page.

• Image A → Set its dynamic data source to Get data from an external API.

• API Provider: Flickr - Search for Images by Tag.

• Headers:
• Accept: application/json

• Parameters:
• Tags: Input Search image by key
• Page: 1
• Per-page: 20
• License: 0

• Open the Workflow tab.

• Choose Elements → An input value is changed.

• Set the action to Show Element = Image A.
