Introduction
This Plugin allows you to get information about the device of the current user (Operating System, is Mobile?, Browser used, type of phone etc.)
How to setup
- Add the Device Info Element to Your Page
- In the Design tab, search for the element called
Device Info. - Drag the
Device Infoelement onto your page.
- Access Device Data in Your App
- Browser Name
Device Info A's Browser Name→ e.g."Google Chrome","Apple Safari","Microsoft Edge","Instagram In-App Browser" - OS Name
Device Info A's OS Name→ e.g."Microsoft Windows 11","Apple iOS","Android Linux","Apple Mac OS X" - Device type checks (yes/no)

Once the
Device Info element is on the page, it detects the device automatically. No setup is needed.You can access the data through the element's exposed states, for example:

Notes & limitations
- Detection is based on the browser's User-Agent string, so results depend on what the browser reports.
- Windows 11 is detected only in Chromium-based browsers (Chrome, Edge, Opera, Yandex). Firefox and Safari on Windows 11 report "Microsoft Windows 10".
- OS Name may change from "Microsoft Windows 10" to "Microsoft Windows 11" a few milliseconds after the page loads, because Windows 11 detection is asynchronous.
- iPad is detected as a mobile device even when Safari requests the desktop version of a site.
- In-app browsers (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Snapchat, LinkedIn, Pinterest, X, LINE) are reported by app name in Browser Name. Other embedded iOS browsers are reported as "iOS WebView".
- Android WebView without a known app is reported as "Google Chrome".
- The Legacy states (Internet Explorer, IE Mobile, BlackBerry) are kept for backward compatibility and are "no" on modern devices.
